Artist's Description
After a four hour hike with no image I wondered off the beaten path and stumbled upon beautifully lit set of wildflowers just across the creek. The shade from the canopy and the suns position was set to shine light just on the flowers making an awesome scene. The capture made the four mile hike with my heavy camera gear worth it. This image was captured at the lower portion of the Cat Gap Loop in Pisgah National Forest.
